May Update

In January, we moved to Antigua, Guatemala, to accept the position of base directors for Adventures in Missions (AIM).  Our time here has been invaluable to build relationships, learn culture, and understand the needs of running an international ministry.  We are so grateful for the years of experience leading short term mission teams, coaching for the World Race, as well as owning and operating a business  in the states.  These have provided the experience we have needed for this role.  There is a great need for Christian businessmen and senior leadership within the scope of international missions.

In August, we will be transplanting to our international headquarters in Gainesville, Georgia, to continue our leadership role on a bigger scale.  As Director of Field Ministry (DFM).  We will oversee the operations of all field ministry and have strategic and operational responsibility for field logistics, safety, implementation and assimilation of international bases.  What does that even mean?  Let us give you a picture.

AIM has been in existence over 20 years and is currently operating in 60 countries.  This involves mobilizing over 3500 young adults as missionaries every year.  Our new position will not only be overseeing all the field operations for these people, but also developing new ministry bases to help establish relationships with native pastors to provide outreach.   While our permanent office will be located in Gainesville, Georgia, we will be traveling to help facilitate our other international bases as needed.

This will be a huge undertaking for us, and we know that without God’s help it will not be possible.  This is where we need your help also.  With relocating to work with AIM will be needing to raise support to help cover some of our costs for ministry.

First, we would ask that you pray for us in this new season of our life.  Second, we would ask that you prayerfully consider joining our financial support team.  There are a couple different ways that you can make your contribution.  You can go to our online support page at [email protected] and click on the donate tab.  If you prefer to mail a check you can send it to Adventures In Missions, 6000 Wellspring Trail, Gainesville, GA 30506 and just write our names in the memo line.  All gifts are fully tax deductable.

Thanks for reading and for praying for us.  We are privileged to be serving here in Guatemala and for what lies ahead in the fall.
